Aida Chueco Ochando
London, International
Freelance Spanish and Catalan Audio Describer, Translator and Subtitler, originally from Barcelona and based in London since 2014.
Over the past few years, I have worked as a Spanish Audio Description writer on a regular basis for Netflix and Prime Video through different vendors, on titles including Alice in Borderland, Man vs Baby, Too Much, and Blippi's Job Show.
I also have experience in live Audio Description for theatre, having provided Catalan AD for Gola, a production by Oriol Pla, at several theatres.
My background in accessibility extends beyond Audio Description. I started my professional career working with APSOCECAT, the Catalan Association for Deafblind People, and studied Catalan Sign Language, which gave me the opportunity to engage with the Deaf community and develop a broader understanding of accessibility and communication.
Before becoming a freelancer, I worked in the audiovisual industry as a Project Manager and Accessibility Coordinator, giving me experience across both the creative and production sides of accessible content.
