Hello!

I am very excited to be part of the Executive Committee for ADA. I currently work at Royal & Derngate Theatre, Northampton and oversee the accessible performances provision. These include: Audio Described, Touch Tours, BSL Integrated and Interpreted, Captioned, Dementia Friendly and Relaxed Performances.

We are very proud to be able to offer more than 20 BSL interpreted and 20 audio-described performances every year to our access patrons. We currently welcome 30,000 patrons who are registered onto our Access Scheme.

I work closely with the Customer Experience and Programming Teams to ensure we have accessible performances available and that all our staff are confidently trained to assist everyone who walks through our door.

I am also part of the Advisory Board for The Lowdown, a Northampton Mental Health Charity for Young People aged 16-25 and I am also a grants advisor for the Northamptonshire Community Foundation.

I hope to help grow ADA by increasing our presence across the industry and in venues. I am always keen to talk to like-minded people about access and I'd love to hear what other regional venues are doing to ensure accessible performances are being provided, at a high standard.
